After service request types are finalized within the municipality, admins will test the display of the iframe, specifically ensuring that service requests are displayed in the correct categories, there are no typos, and that service request types are displayed in the correct order.
This checklist can be used to verify that all elements of the iframe are tested prior to launch:
- Confirm that the request types and categories are listed as desired. Update service request types in Manage Request Types
Verify only public service requests are visibly on the iframe. If internal service request types are visible on the iframe, adjust settings in Manage Request Types.
Confirm your branding matches the desired image and color. Update the branding as necessary in Manage Settings > iframe.
Send test requests through the system to test:
The request submission process
Order of the custom fields and language used in the custom fields are correct
Attaching an image
Logging in or creating a PublicStuff account
Confirmation message is displayed correctly
Confirm the iframe displays well in the municipal page on which it’s been embedded. If not, review the recommended iframe sizing and update as needed.
Before going live, remove all test requests from PublicStuff. Requests can be deleted on the individual request’s Request Details page, by clicking Options > Delete Request.
