Testing staff communications

During the testing process, one important thing to verify is that staff are receiving the right notifications for request submissions and communication with residents. You can test this through completing these steps:


  1. Choose a sample request type and send a test request using either the iframe, mobile app, or Add Request.

     

    Insert the below text into the Description field of all test request:

    This is a test request from [name]. Please click the link in the email you’ve just received to go to PublicStuff Pro. Leave a public comment on the request to let me know you’ve received it. Do not reply to this email!

     
  2. Confirm that the assignee and all users on the notification list have received the email, logged into PublicStuff Pro and commented on the Request Details page, and follow up with any who do not comment.
